【Course Title】

World Economic Forum — “The Game Has Changed, but the Outcome Remains Unclear: U.S. Anxiety, China’s Quest, and Western Europe’s Dilemma”

【Course Description】

Chairman Cheng-Shu Kao and co-taught weekly personally curate this course by four distinguished faculty members. It offers a macroeconomic perspective on global development, analyzing the transformation and evolution of major national economies.

Enrollment is by application and selection rather than through the regular course registration system. Students from diverse departments across Feng Chia University are encouraged to apply. The course emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and learning in small discussion-based groups.

In an era of dramatic global change, a new world order has yet to take shape. Centered on shifts in “structure” and “momentum,” this course explores transformations in the global power landscape through three major geopolitical actors: the United States, grappling with internal and external anxiety; China, still navigating its path of transformation; and Western Europe, caught in a state of uncertainty.
The game has changed, but the outcome remains unclear.

If you're curious about the world, give yourself a chance to understand it more deeply.
